NORFIL Foundation Inc., a social welfare agency in Lapu-Lapu City, is calling the attention of the parents and relatives of the minors who are under its care.
Jenny A. Manire, born on July 25, 2011 at Cebu City Medical Center, was temporarily left by her parents Jun V. Manire and Angel F. Amorillo at Missionaries of Charity in barangay Suba-Pasil, Cebu City on Oct. 25, 2011. The couple promised to return and get back the child but failed.
Maguirose Michelle Jomadiao, born on April 25, 2012 in barangay Casuntingan, Mandaue City was left by her mother Mylyne M. Jomadiao to the care of American national Paul Michael Krivos and his wife Eva of barangay Tayud, Liloan town, northern Cebu last June 11.
Rowedel Basilisco, born on May 14, 2010 in barangay Talamban, Cebu City was temporarily left by his mother, Yuhelen Basilisco of barangay Sua, Argao, southern Cebu to the Department of Social Welfare and Development in Central Visayas-Reception and Study Center for Children (DSWD-7-RSCC) in Cebu City last June 15. Yuhelen, however, did not return to get back her child. The child is now temporarily place at Norfil Foundation.
A newly born baby boy John Zachary Edoboro was found around 4 a.m. last July 19 along General Maxilom Avenue, Cebu City by Mary Brenhilda Yosores. The child was brought to Cebu City Medical Center by the Emergency Rescue Unit Foundation on the same day.
The Norfil foundation is requesting the parents or relatives of the children to see or contact social workers Angelina Dungog, Sheryl Gacita and Griffith Riconalla at 3401170 or 3405722 from Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Failure of the parties to appear within 3 months will subject the children for legal abandonment proceedings through the DSWD.
