THE ERASE XFoliant Erasers utilized a sizzling second period shooting spree led by Nate Matute to take down the Informatics, 79-68, in the PBA D-League Aspirants Cup yesterday at the Arellano University gym.
Matute, the standout from the Jose Rizal University, scored seven of his 13 points in the second canto to spark the breakaway and lead the Erasers to their second win in a row.
Jett Vidal and Macky Acosta topped the scoring parade by the Erasers with 19 and 13 points, respectively.
