A CONSTRUCTION workers was stabbed dead while he slept on a bamboo bench outside a relative’s house in barangay Kawayan, Dalaguete town, southern cCebu.
The body of Manuelito Bidolido, 37, was found with a stab wound in the right shoulder just below the neck.
Police are still looking for witnesses who could shed light on the incident.
Police said the man was last seen alive having a drinking session with friends in sitio Ilaya last Saturday night.
Bidolido left ahead of the group. According to the victim’s friends, the victim told them that he was going to sleep in his house.
A blooded Bidolido was later found lifeless on top of a bamboo bench, said PO3 Noeh Rosales of Dalaguete police./ Correspondent Joy Cherry S. Quito
