FOREIGNER NABBED FOR MAULING LOVER

POLICE arrested a Frenchman who was accused of mauling his Filipina live-in partner at their home in barangay Lahug, Cebu City on Thursday night.

Jonathan Lumes, 25, of Costa Rica, France, is facing charges of physical injuries and grave threat.

His girlfriend, Jona Mae Lusabia, 31, said she was mauled after she caught the Frenchman on the computer engaged in Internet chatting with women in a social networking site./CORRESPONDENT CHITO O. ARAGON

MAN FALLS IN DRUG BUST

A 31-YEAR-OLD man was arrested in a drug buy-bust operation in barangay Tagnukan, Borbon town northern Cebu on Thursday night.

olice said five packs of suspected shabu were recovered from Sunny Bin Manloloyo, a resident of barangay Poblacion, Tabogon town, Cebu.
