Shoe caravan, job fair in Makati

A two-day sale of trendy footwear products made in the country’s shoe capital, Marikina City, will highlight a shoe caravan to be hosted by the city government of Makati.

Part of the proceeds of Marikina’s Sapatos Festival 2012 aimed at bringing the city’s shoe products within reach of Metro Manila residents, the caravan will be held at the Makati City Hall Quadrangle from November 7 to 8.

On November 9, a mega-job fair and discount caravan will be held from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. also at the Quadrangle. Over 60 companies and industry leaders will be there to screen job applicants.—Niña Calleja
