PNP Chief Bacalzo faces Senate in PCSO fund probe

MANILA, Philippines — Ranking police officials led by Police chief Raul Bacalzo faced the Senate on Tuesday to answer questions on the funds that the police had allegedly received from the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO).

The blue ribbon committee is investigating the alleged irregularities in the use of the PCSO funds.

Also present at the resumption of the hearing were incumbent and former officials of the PCSO and officials of the Commission on Audit.
