‘Juaning’ is now a tropical storm

MANILA, Philippines—Tropical Depression “Juaning” intensifies into Tropical Storm Tuesday morning, Pagasa confirmed on 990AM Radyo Inquirer.

Classes up to high school, private and public, have been suspended in provinces covering the Ilocos, Central Luzon and Bicol regions. At the NCR, afternoon and evening classes are suspended, DepEd said.

Signal number 2 have been raised in Albay, Catanduanes and Camarines provinces.

About 20 flights and Ro-Ro operations going to and from the affected provinces have been cancelled.
