CALAPAN CITY, Philippines—Sofia Lopez, mother of INQUIRER.net editorial assistant Christopher Lopez, passed away Saturday afternoon, November 3 in this capital city of Oriental Mindoro.
She was 78.
Aside from Christopher and wife Janeth, she is survived by her husband Eleno and children and in-laws Mely and Eddie, Mario and Tessie, Yolly, Lolit and Nash, Jimmy, Amy and Jessie, Liza, Nelson, and Grace.
The wake of Mrs. Lopez will be at the family residence in Brgy. Calero, Calapan City.
Burial will be at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, November 7.
