Pink Chair silent auction for cancer awareness

SM City Cebu, together with ICan Serve Foundation Inc. and the Department of Trade and Industry, celebrated Breast Cancer Awareness Month through a Pink Chair silent auction at the mall’s Northwing.

Pink-inspired chairs were designed by Cebu’s top furniture designers. Owners of furniture, including furniture companies also donated for the cause.

The auction is open to all shoppers ages 18 and above.

Submission of bids started last Oct. 22 and will end tomorrow, Nov. 4 at noon.

Bid forms are available at The Northwing Atrium.

Completely filled-up forms will be dropped in the drop boxes located at the display area. The filled up bid form serves as evidence that the bidder has inspected the item and agrees to the terms and conditions of the sale.

Prices exclude freight and packing costs. The bid price shall be in increments of P500 from the minimum bid price. Payment accepted is cash only. The highest offer will win the bid for the item. Bidders are invited to attend the awarding of the Pink Chair auction tomorrow at 3 p.m. at The Northiwng Atrium.

The winning bidders who are not present during the awarding ceremony will be forfeited, thus awarding the item to the next highest bidder.

Proceeds will help fund ICan Serve Foundation’s projects such as cancer screening, early diagnosis, education, treatment and research and bringing patient navigation and quality care to underserved communities.
