Veco sets medical mission in Apas

THE Visayan Electric Co. (Veco) will hold a medical mission in sitio Baka, barangay Apas, Cebu City on Nov. 10.

Residents will get free consultations and medicine.

Last Oct. 13, Veco conducted its second annual dental mission in barangay Mohon, Talisay City where 43 residents availed of free dental services as part of the company’s corporate social responsibility programs.

Three dentists were assisted by four nurses and 17 Veco employee volunteers and scholars.

Aside from the free tooth extraction, residents aged 7 and above also brought home complete post-operative medicine.

Last May, Veco’s “Astig Ka Boy” free circumcision project benefited 68 boys from barangay Subangdaku, Mandaue City.
