MANILA, Philippines—A 5.9 magnitude quake struck Zambales at 01:15 a.m. Tuesday.
Phivolcs confirmed the center at 21 km southwest of Iba town.
A series of aftershocks followed at 2:12 am with 3.9 magnitude, at 3:10 a.m. with 4.0 magnitude and at 3:34 with 2.8 magnitude, all centered in Iba.
The aftershocks were felt up to surrounding towns in Pampanga, Nueva Ecija and the cities of Manila, Makati, Quezon in Metro Manila and Bacoor in Cavite.
There were no reported damage or casualties in the affected areas.
