Superintendent Renante Cabico, Kidapawan police chief, said Jose Labrador, 49, and his family had just arrived at their home in Davco Subdivision here when he was attacked.
Cabico said Labrador, a field worker for Catamco, was hit twice on the head and died instantly.
The armed men sped off on their blue Honda XRM motorcycle as the victim’s family cried for help, he said.
Cabico said investigators responding to the incident recovered two empty shells from a .45-caliber pistol just outside the victim’s house but the motive and identity of the assailants remained unknown.
