Several hurt in North Cotabato public market blast

KIDAPAWAN City, Philippines—Several people were injured and were rushed to local hospitals after an explosive devise exploded in a public market in Makilala town, North Cotabato, at around 9 p.m. on Monday.

Makilala Police Chief Inspector Joyce Birrey said they have started investigating the blast site to identify suspects and motives.  An explosives and ordnance team was sent to the public market.
