The measure principally involves the assignment of lanes on Dr. A. Santos Avenue, or Sucat road, to or from the Loyola Memorial Park and the Manila Memorial Park.
From Oct. 31 to Nov. 2, public utility jeepneys taking Sucat road bound for the South Luzon Expressway should take the inner lane; while all other vehicles coming from the Baclaran area going to the Loyola Memorial Park are advised to turn right on Lopez Avenue and take the alternate route going through Aguirre Avenue and President’s Avenue, back to Sucat road and the Loyola Memorial Park entrance.
All vehicles coming from the Baclaran area, bound for Manila Memorial Park, shall take the middle and outer lanes on Sucat Road, then turn right at the cemetery entrance.
Motorists taking Sucat Road coming from the direction of the SLEX can take the inner and middle lanes and turn left at the Loyola Memorial Park and Manila Memorial Park entrances.
Vehicles coming from the highway bound straight for Baclaran are advised to take the outer lane on Sucat road or turn left at President’s Avenue, turn right to Aguirre Street until El Grande and Lopez Avenue, where they can exit back to Sucat road.
Another alternate route if one is coming from President’s Avenue going to Sucat highway is through Jackielou Ville, then through Doña Irenea Avenue in Ireneville Subdivision.
“It is our utmost priority to ensure the smooth flow of traffic and the safety of persons on these holidays. We encourage everybody to comply with regulations, cooperate with traffic enforcers and other authorities and maintain safety consciousness,” Mayor Florencio Bernabe Jr. said in a statement.
