AVGCC bets lead after first day

GOLFERS from the Alta Vista Golf and Country Club showed their mastery of the home golf course after they currently lead in their respective categories in Day 1 of the Alta Vista Junior Golf Challenge.

Gus Mata of Alta Vista is the temporary leader in the Special Division after grossing 79 points.

At current second place is Jethro Armilla of Del Monte while Mactan Golf’s Luigi Coloyan is in third place.

In the boys class A, Alta Vista’s David Park is reigning supreme after grossing 74 points.

FEATURED STORIES

Trailing him is Cebu Country Club’s Gen Nagai and Jelbert Gamolo.

The distaff side is also being lorded by another Alta Vista player Ericka Lim with her gross point of 77.

She is followed closely by Del Monte’s Apple Fudolin and Chanelle Avaricio.

Class B boys has WeiWei Gao of Alta Vista at the top with 76 points.

Finishing Day 1 at second and third are Del Monte’s Marlon Santiago and Nico Canlas, respectively.

Cebu Country Club’s LK Go is currently reigning supreme in the distaff side with her gross points of 78.

Nipping at her heels are Samantha Martirez and Pamela Mariano.
