Pabasa in Kamputhaw to mark Nutrition Month

ALL barangays in Cebu City hold the Pabasa program every year in celebration of Nutrition Month.

Their objective is to educate mothers with babies below one year old about nutrition and the proper feeding of infants and young children.

Each barangay has own schedule of the event.

In barangay Kamputhaw, the Pabasa program will be held from July 25 to July 27 in Purok 8, Little Pasil.

“We will be sharing with the mothers helpful ways in feeding their children properly like complementary feeding,” said Laarni Solon, barangay health nurse.
“We will also teach them basic nutrition facts,” she added.

Mothers were urged to take advantage of the annual program.
