CHRISTY Tutor logged another impressive win after she and Kenyan Josphat Kiptanui topped yesterday’s 10-kilometer run of the “Salmot Kabataan, Dagan Para Sa Kabataan” running event in Consolacion.
Tutor crossed the finish line at the SM City Consolacion with a time of 45 minutes and 57 seconds to win the women’s crown.
Kiptanui dominated the men’s side with a time of 33 minutes and three seconds.
Jhean Andrin clocked 45:59 to finish second in the women’s side while Keisha Mae Delechos finished in 46:00 for third place.
Kenyan Francis Kakui claimed second spot in the men’s race with a time of 34:11 while Michael Largo rounded off the top three with a time of 34:44.
Cherry Andrin (20:08) and another Kenyan Abraham Missous (15:59) topped women’s and men’s 5k race, respectively. Winners in the 3k category were Bruce Anthony Samonte (10:45) and Rusell Gestopa (17:13). /CORRESPONDENT DALE G. ROSAL
