2 alleged robbers killed in Pasay shootout–report

MANILA, Philippines – Two suspected robbers were killed in a shootout with security guards along Park Avenue in Pasay City Saturday, according to a radio report.

The report said one of the guards, who was not identified, heard a woman’s scream.

It said that when the guard saw the suspects trying to grab the woman’s bag and asked them to stop, one of them fired at him.

The report said the guard fired back and killed one of the suspects.

The report said that the other suspect was killed by another guard who responded to his colleague’s call for help.
