Pinoy Kiamco, 2 others keep title hopes afloat

Filipino billiards aces Warren “Warrior” Kiamco, Ramon “Maestro Monching” Mistica and Daniel Dagotdot beat their respective rivals in the losers group yesterday to stay in contention in the 37th Annual US Open held at the Holiday Inn Virginia Beach – Norfolk Convention Center in Virginia, USA.

The Pasil, Cebu native Kiamco blasted Jo Garcia, 11-0, while the Murphy, Quezon City based Mistica ripped Larry Faulk, 11-6. The New Jersey resident Dagotdot for his part, crushed P. Panopoulos, 11-5.

Meanwhile, Davao City’s Reynaldo Campana officially bowed out of the tournament after suffering his second loss at the hands of Shannon Fitch, 11-7.

Action in the winners brackets resume today (Wednesday night US Time).
