/ 12:37 AM October 25, 2012

A man was arrested after he tried but failed to rob a talent training center in Quezon City on Tuesday. The police said that Antonio Roxas, 36, a resident of Potrero in Malabon City, initially posed as a customer of Music First Talent Training Center in Barangay (village) Philam, Quezon City, before he pulled out a bread knife and ordered Mark Tan, the supervisor of the establishment, to hand over his valuables.

Police Officer 3 Marlon Tan of the Quezon City Police District’s Masambong station said in a report that Roxas was subdued by Mark Tan’s father, Mark Felix, who happened to be in the training center.

Father and son then called for help from policemen who took Roxas into custody and brought him to the Masambong station. Seized from Roxas were his cell phone and Yamaha Mio motorcycle with plate number 4592 TR.—Rima Jessamine Granali
