30 CamSur cops sent to secure Sona

NAGA CITY, Philippines—Thirty policemen from Camarines Sur provincial office have been sent to Manila to augment the security force for the State of the Nation Address of President Benigno Aquino III.

Senior Superintendent Procopion Lipana, officer-in-charge of the Camarines Sur Police Provincial Office, said the policemen left Sunday and were expected to report to Camp Crame for integration with other police forces securing Metro Manila for the Sona.

Lipana said the policemen were expected to pull out from their assignments in Manila immediately after the Sona.
