New plunder case to be filed vs Arroyo—report

MANILA, Philippines – A new plunder case will be filed against former president and now Pampanga Representative Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo, a 990AM report said Monday.
The report said Akbayan Partylist Representative Walden Bello and former Akbayan Congresswoman Risa Hontiveros will file the case at 12 noon, ahead of President Benigno Aquino III’s State of the Nation Address at 4 p.m.
Arroyo has been asked to take a leave of absence to spare the House of Representatives from the embarrassment these charges have caused its lawmakers.
