A 48-YEAR-old British national and a 19-year-old woman were arrested after they were caught allegedly smoking marijuana in barangay Lamacan, Argao town in southern Cebu yesterday.
British natinal Stewart Leyland, who’s residing at barangay Lamacan, and Daphne Bontilao of Consolacion town in northern Cebu were caught having a pot session inside Leyland’s house.
Police said Elsie Leyland, the wife of Stewart, reported the activity to police.
Elsie told police that she suspected her husband and Bontilao were having an affair.
Police confiscated a small pack of dried marijuana leaves from the couple.
They are both detained at the Argao Police station pending the filing of charges. /Correspondent Joy C. Quito
