Castrol Reg’l Autocross set

EXCITING car racing action gets underway tomorrow for the third leg of the Castrol Edge Regional Autocross Championship Series at the parking lot of the Sugbu building at the South Road Properties.

The races are expected to be fast and furious with the point standings between the participating teams being neck-to-neck.

The expert class will be a toss up between DGL Motorsports and Kartzone as Mato Tan of the David G. Lim-owned team has 16 points to edge the Kartzone’s Jess Garcia and Derek Arculli, who is not far behind in third place with 14 points.

The lower category will be highlighted by the battle between W.12 and DubCity and their drivers Franklin Vicoy and Welren Peña, respectively.

The final leg of this series will be staged on Dec. 1 and 2 at a venue that has yet to be announced by the organizers. /Correspondent Jonas Panerio
