Police tipster shot dead in Manila

A man believed to be a police informant was shot and killed by four men on Wednesday in Tondo, Manila.

SPO2 Glenzor Vallejo of the Manila Police District homicide section said that Uldarico Murillo, 50, was standing in front of his daughter’s house in Parola Compound at 10:45 p.m. when four men approached him and shot him.

The victim was hit in the head and chest and died on the spot.

An initial police investigation said the victim was killed by a group which was being probed by authorities. Nancy C. Carvajal
