AdC captures two crowns in 3rd Engineers football
THE Ateneo de Cebu (AdC) clinched two titles in last weekend’s 3rd Engineers Fiesta Cup Invitational Football Tournament held at the San Roque football field.
Last Saturday, AdC defeated teams from the same club—Canduman FC for the Players 8 and Players 12 titles with the same 1-0 scores.
The Players 6 title was notched by Guiseppe which edged AdC, 1-0 while Guiseppe bowed to visiting Barili FC for the Players 10 title.
Sunday’s games saw Danao FC scoring a 1-0 victory over Pocket Monster for the Boys 17 title while the Men’s Inter Company title went to Innodata which tripped Convergy’s A, 1-0.
San Roque FC B, on the other hand, defeated sister team San Roque FC A, 2-0, for the Men’s 38 Above title.
This festival-type tournament will resume this weekend with categories Boys U15, Girls U14 and U17, Ladies Open, Men’s Open and Men’s 42 Above. /CORRESPONDENT MARS G. ALISON
