Trader killed, SUV stolen in QC

A businessman was shot dead by four men who took his sport utility vehicle in Quezon City before midnight the other day.

Genesis Olbedencia, 36, was declared dead on arrival at Far Eastern University Hospital due to two gunshot wounds.

His maroon Mitsubishi Montero (TQP 958) has yet to be recovered by authorities.

Inspector Elmer Monsalve, head of the Quezon City Police District’s Criminal Investigation and Detection Unit (QCPD-CIDU) homicide section, told the Philippine Daily Inquirer that they were still trying to determine the motive behind the killing.
