46 of 81 pass Naval architect and marine engineer licensure exam

MANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced Tuesday that 46 out of 81 passed the Naval Architect and Marine Engineer Licensure Examination given by the Board of Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering in Manila this October 2012.

The PRC said the successful examinees who garnered the three highest places are : Geelo Ree Lacbayo  Orcullo of the University of Cebu (93.40), Ronnie Sanchez  Alcorcon of the University of Cebu (91.80) and Joy Timoteo  Escalante of the Namei Polytechnic Institute (90.00).

The members of the Board of Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering are Engr. Rosalio A. Quirante, Chairman; Engr. William B. Hernandez and Engr. Edward B. Cruz, Members.

Registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card and Certificate of Registration will be on October 22, 2012. Those who will register are required to bring the following: duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal, current Community Tax Certificate (cedula), 2 pieces passport size picture (in color with white background and complete nametag), 1 piece 1” x 1” picture (in color with white background and complete nametag), 2 sets of metered documentary stamps and 1 short brown envelope with name and profession and to pay the initial registration fee of P600 and Annual Registration Fee of P450 for 2012-2015.  Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.
