Singer nabbed for drugs

BAGUIO CITY—A local singer, who joined ABS-CBN’s reality television show Pinoy Dream Academy in 2006, was arrested for selling illegal drugs to an undercover agent of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) here on Tuesday night.

A PDEA report said Yvan Lambatan, 30, a resident of Barangay Santo Tomas proper here, was arrested after a buy-bust operation in front of a music lounge on Legarda Road here at 8:30 p.m.


The report said Lambatan handed a plastic sachet, containing .30 gram of methamphetamine hydrochloride (shabu), to the agent after the latter paid him P3,000. Inquirer Northern Luzon
