3 FISHERMEN ARRESTED

THREE fishermen were arrested for illegal fishing off Minglanilla town, southern Cebu last Thursday afternoon.

Charges are being readied against Ian Baller, 20; Julius Seguerra, 30, and Victoriano Pabrika, 57, all residents of barangay Biasong Talisay City, said police.

MAN FOUND DEAD IN OSLOB

A MAN was found dead in front of his house in barangay Bonbon, Oslob town, southern Cebu yesterday morning.

Police identified the fatality as Eddie Antipala, 52, who had injuries in his face.

Police said they suspect that because of drunkenness, the man fell on the ground and hit his head on a concrete pavement.

The man was brought to  the town’s hospital but attending physicians declared him dead.

The family was convinced that there was no foul play involved in the man’s death, said PO1 Johnny Tapales of the Oslob police./CORRESPONDENT GABRIEL C. BONJOC
