PAL cabin crew hiring fair comes to Cebu this weekend

AFTER adding 10 new Airbus A330 jets on top of the 54 aircraft they ordered in August, Philippine Airlines will be hiring cabin crews to support their planned route expansions by 2013.

Christopher Lebumfacil, PAL passenger sales manager for the Visayas, yesterday confirmed that the airline was working to expand its domestic and international routes starting next year when 10 of the 64 aircraft were expected to be delivered.

Lebumfacil however declined to give details about the expansions saying he was not at liberty to make the announcements yet.

He, however, assured customers that these new developments would benefit them and add more quality travel options for them.

PAL president Ramon Ang said in a statement that with the latest order, the airline’s refleeting program had reached almost US $10 billion.

PAL has decided to hold their cabin crew recruitment fair in Cebu where they expect to get a good number of applicants coming from the different nearby regions and provinces.

They held their first fair on October 6 and 7 at the Radisson Blu Hotel Cebu. The airline has set another job fair this Saturday and Sunday still at the hotel.
