JOBSEEKERS will now have the chance to get their dream jobs with the CUTIE project launched and inaugurated last Sept. 24 at the Technical Education Skills and Development Authority in Central Visayas (TESDA-7) in Lahug, Cebu City.
The event was led by Cebu City North District Rep. Rachel Marguerite Del Mar, her father Raul Del Mar, Tesda-7 Regional Director Rosanna Urdaneta, representative of country manager Joey Canon of Qualfon Phils. Inc., Jobstreet.com VisMin sales supervisor Hazel Grace Juson, Center for Industrial Technology and Enterprise Board of Trustee Dr. Efren Valiente and Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI) president Prudencio Gesta.
The Center for Unified Training on Industry and Employment (CUTIE) Job Placement Program – Training and Employment Center, or simply the CUTIE project, is a joint effort between CCCI and the Congressional Office for the North District of Cebu, together with TESDA-7, Jobstreet.com and Qualfon Philippines Inc. to help jobseekers employ in CCCI-member companies.
The project is in line with CCCI’s pursuit for Cebu’s business growth towards global competitiveness.
The CUTIE program envisions to support the refinement of technical skills in the fields of information technology and business process outsourcing.
