The Manila Police District station 5 said a security guard of Lyceum alerted their station around 11:40 a.m. after receiving a phone call from a still unidentified person allegedly saying that a bomb will be set off inside the university.
Authorities responded in the area “but found nothing.”
Nonetheless, classes and office work were suspended, Lyceum said in its twitter post, adding that afternoon exams will be rescheduled.
This was the second time a bomb hoax gripped the city.
On Tuesday, a package with a note claiming it was a bomb was discovered inside a bus in Liwasang Bonifacio in Intramuros, Manila.
