USC-HRM students set benefit party on Saturday

THE fourth year Hotel and Restaurant Management students of the University of San Carlos will hold a party for a cause on Saturday, Oct. 12 at 8 p.m.

Dubbed as “Eat, drink and party for a cause,” the event will take place at Amnezia Superclub on Ouano Avenue, North Reclamation Area, Mandaue City.

The event will feature Cebu bands like Powerspoonz, Line Divides, Dance with me Kris and the Ambassadors.

Proceeds of the activity will go to the Adam Jennie’s Christian Center for Special Child Inc.

AJCC is an organization that helps children with special needs through support services and livelihood programs, among others.

“We choose AJCC because earlier this year, something tragic happened within their organization. Their old school caught fire and they are in dire need of help,” said event coordinator Kristine Cruz.

A ticket worth P220, entitles guests to food and drinks, aside from the ledge dancing contest, beer drinking contest and raffles.

Raffle prizes include 150 gift certificates worth P1,500 from Slimmer’s World and another five gift certificates worth P1,000 from Diana Stalder.

Winners of the ledge dancing contest will receive 2-hour free KTV session and 1 round of free drinks courtesy of Amnezia Superclub.

All guests will also receive discount cards from Diana Stalder and will be given 1 UV glow-in-the dark bracelet.

The first 50 guests will receive gift prizes and have a chance to win Jansport bag.

“Guests have also an option to add P50 for unlimited cocktail drinks for the whole night,” added Cruz.
