Inquirer bureau chief’s ma dies

Ramoncita Lacuaren Benedicto, of Camiguin province and Cebu City, mother of Inquirer Southern Luzon chief Edralyn S. Benedicto, died from a lingering illness at Perpetual Succor Hospital in Cebu City Monday. She was 76.

She is survived by her children, Edra, Joel and Angie, Marlon and Elvie, Gemma and Franklin, and Debbie, and her grandchildren, Jay-R and Luana, Donna and Johmie, Marvi, Dianne, Fengee, Nikkie, John Andre, Krista and Noynoy.


Her remains lie at St. Peter Memorial Chapel on New Imus Street in Cebu City.

Interment details will be announced later.
