AJ, Bautista to arrive in Manila Thursday
AJ “Bazooka” Banal, Rey “Boom Boom” Bautista and the rest of the Filipino fighters representing Team Philippines in the Pinoy Pride XVII: Philippines vs The World are expected to arrive in Manila this Thursday.
The Philippine contingent will wrap up their training and preparations for their scheduled bouts at the SM Mall of Asia Arena on Oct. 20.
That boxing card will be highlighted by the WBO World Bantamweight championship between the Philippines’ AJ “Bazooka” Banal and Punguang Sorsingyu of Thailand.

This will be the first time the SM Mall of Asia Arena will be holding a boxing event.
Banal and Bautista will be doing free public workout sessions at SM Mega MAll on Oct. 12, SM Mall of Asia on Oct. 13 and SM Fairview on Sunday Oct. 14. /pr
