Tabunok cagers bag 3rd place in Talisay hoop

TABUNOK edged Bulacao, 87-75, to bag third place honors in the open division of the Talisay City Mayor’s Cup 2012 basketball tournament last Thursday at the Talisay City Sports Complex.

In the SK division, Pooc routed San Isidro, 79-69, to finish third.

Tabunok I also bagged a third place finish after beating Lawaan I in the seniors division, 81-62.

Lagtang faces Cansojong in the championships of the Open division while San Roque battles Poblacion in the SK division. San Isidro takes on Dumlog I for the seniors division finals. All of the three championship matches were still being played as of this writing. /CORRESPONDENT DALE G. ROSAL
