Knights eye playoff spot against Chiefs today

Games today:

The Arena

4 p.m. – Letran vs. Arellano

6 p.m. – Mapua vs. St. Benilde

THE Letran Knights aim to put themselves in a position for at least a playoff for the second spot and the twice-to-beat advantage that comes with it when they finish their regular season assignment with a game against the Arellano University Chiefs in the 88th NCAA men’s basketball tournament today at the Arena in San Juan City.

The Knights are currently on a five-game winning streak good for an 11-6 (win-loss) record.

Letran is chasing the San Sebastian Stags, who own a 12-5 mark and will face top-seeded San Beda Red Lions in their last game.

Arellano hopes to play the spoiler role as it tries to end its season on a high note. The Chiefs are in sixth place with a 6-11 mark. /Correspondent Jonas Panerio
