Pilot dies after fall from hotel

A pilot fell to his death  from  the verandah of a room at a five-star hotel in Alabang, Muntinlupa City, before dawn Friday.

Anton Miguel Osmeña, 30,  was believed to have fallen from the 29th floor of The Vivere Hotel at Filinvest Corporate City.

According to the initial theory of the police, it could have been a case of suicide, although a probe is still ongoing.

There was no suicide note and the victim’s family refused to talk to the police, according to the Southern Police District.

A nephew of Sen. Teofisto Guingona III was also believed to have jumped to his death from the lounge of the 31-floor hotel last year. Jaymee T. Gamil
