1 dead as tropical storm `Marce’ moves farther away from PH

MANILA, Philippines—A fisherman was reported killed as tropical storm “Marce’’ moved away further from the country, the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council said Friday.

Dante Sarasa’s body was found on the shores of Wawa village in Nasugbu town in Batangas early Thursday.

Sarasa and two other fishermen, Gerardo Melgar and Ariel Cosar, went fishing on Wednesday morning aboard two motor bancas.

The fishermen were on their way home when it capsized due to waves and strong winds caused by Marce, the NDRRMC said. Frances Mangosing
