All set for 3rd Engineers Fiesta Cup Invitational Football tilt

THE 3rd Engineers Fiesta Cup Invitational Football Tournament will kickoff in two weekends at the Sta. Lucia football field in Consolacion, Cebu.

This tournament features 14 categories.

Players Under 6, U8, U10 and boys U12 will be held on Oct. 13 while competitions for the men’s inter-company, ladies inter-company and men’s 38 above will be held on Oct. 14.

The boys U15, U17, girls U14 and U17 will be contested on Oct. 20 while the ladies open, men’s open and men’s 42 above will cap the tournament on Oct. 21.

FEATURED STORIES

The tournament will follow a festival-type format with the players U6 and U8 to play for 10 minutes straight; while the players U10 and boys U12 will play six minutes each halves.

The rest of the categories will be playing seven minutes per halves.

Categories with one bracket will follow a single round-robin during the eliminations with the top two advancing to the finals.

The category with more than one bracket will have each bracket playing in a single-round robin during the eliminations. The top two teams will then advance to a crossover semifinals with the winners contesting the championship.
