Pecandela pad win streak to 4

THE Pecandela Law Firm-Primary Homes strengthened its hold of the lead after notching its fourth straight with a, 86-55 demolition of Los Demonyos last Saturday in the 9th Integrated Bar of the Philippines (IBP)-2012 basketball tournament.

Pecandela led from start to finish for the 31-point victory.

Tommy Yu and Mark Russ Gamallo topscored for Pecandela with 24 and 17 points, respectively while Richard Bauzon and Ferdie Riveral led the losing squad with 12 points apiece.

In the other game, the Super Idols with playing coach Erwin Heyrosa, the vice-president of IBP Chapter, drubbed Dissenters, 73-58.

Fermin Pepito and Benjo Macion had 21 and 16 points respectively, for Super Idols while former UC Webmaster Kern Sesante led the Dissenters (2-2) with 31 markers.

Earlier, the Bhutakalz routed winless Jodin, 60-38, for its 2nd win in three games with power-forward Cris Ang scoring a game-high 27 points on top of five treys.

Meanwhile, the Paneros drubbed winless Primos, 62-48, to improve to 3-1.

Nilo Balorio led the Paneros with 11 points, while Billy Cabilte and Bert Ruaya added 10 points apiece.
