THREE-TIME defending champions Ateneo Blue Eagles will try to add another school to their list of victims even as their bitter rivals La Salle look for their first win in the 74th UAAP basketball tournament today at the Araneta Coliseum.
The Blue Eagles have yet to find a challenger this season after three contests. Recently, they turned the much-anticipated matchup with the National University Bulldogs into a whitewash, prevailing 86-62.
Next up for the wards of head coach Norman Black will be the struggling University of the East Red Warriors, which have lost their first three games. They were blasted by the Far Eastern University Tamaraws, 47-66, last Thursday.
Meanwhile, the La Salle Green Archers continue their search for a breakthrough win today when they take on the revitalized University of the Philippines Fighting Maroons. Correspondent Jonas Panerio
