Heritage event draws youth

EIGHTEEN museums and heritage sites opened its doors to students participating in the 4th Kabataan, Kultura ug Kabilin.

Students from the University of San Carlos (USC) visit the sites wearing national costumes to study history, society and heritage outside the classrooms.

“The event aims in promoting and protecting our heritage sites and to develop a sense of pride,” said Dr. Jocelyn Gerra, Executive Director Ramon Aboitiz Foundation, Inc. (RAFI) Culture and Heritage Unit.

The 4th Kabataan, Kultura ug Kabilin (KKK), a youth heritage event is held under the auspices of the Culture and RAFI, the USC Department of Anthropology, Sociology, and History and the Cebu City government./Contributor Joy Cherry Quito
