QUEZON-At least 30 passengers were injured when a bus plunged into a ravine in General Luna town on Wednesday, according to police.
PO2 Archival Almonte, General Luna police investigator, said the RR Bus was in Barangay Bacong Ilaya on the way to Catanauan town past 4 p.m. when its left front suspension springs broke apart.
The driver, Ricardo Minggay, lost control of the vehicle. Villagers and passing motorists helped rescue the bus passengers. Many were taken to the Bondoc Peninsula District Hospital.
