PHILIPPINE superflyweight champion Marco Demecillo Singwangcha of the RWS Gym of Cebu kept his undefeated record intact with a fourth round knockout victory against challenger Marjun Tabamo on a fight held last Tuesday, Sept. 25 at the IIT Gymnasium in Iligan City.

Demecillo used a vast array of head and body punches to knock down Tabamo in the third round and stopped him for good in the fourth. This was a homecoming fight for Demecillo, who also hails from Iligan.

The power-punching Demecillo is one of the Filipino prospects sponsored by Thai boxing patron Naris Singwangcha while Tabamo was trained by former WBC junior lightweight champion Rene Barrientos.
