/ 06:37 AM July 22, 2011

The businesswoman who was shot and wounded by a motorcycle-riding assailant in barangay Guadalupe, Cebu City, is not interested in filing charges, said the police.

“She is not showing interest in filing charges against the perpetrators. She knows something that she doesn’t want to divulge,” said Senior Supt. Melvin Buenafe, chief of the Cebu City police.

With this, police will have to look for other witnesses to help identify and lead to the arrest of the assailant of Rowena Bensing, said Buenafe.
