The Rotary Club of Cebu Gloria Maris (RCCGM) will hit the latest growing dance craze on Sept. 29 at the J Centre Mall Mandaue City from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Zumba: Fitness concert-for-a-cause is the club’s fund raising event that will support its community service projects for 2012-2013 with special focus on major project, the Community Learning Center – an educational series for household service workers.
Zumba is a fitness program that incorporates mixed choreography of hip-hop, soca, samba, salsa, meringue and other fat-burning crazy dance moves.
It is also an exciting and fun way to get people together in an atmosphere of caring and sharing.
The fitness concert will have six certified Zumba instructors.
RCCGM is a multi-awarded all-ladies rotary club in Cebu.
For its Community Learning Center project, the ladies work with partners to pursue sustainable solutions to free, protect and empower vulnerable Filipino workers through education and information that will reduce vulnerabilities to human trafficking, domestic servitude and other forms of exploitation and peace-disrupting conditions.
