Shallow LPA in Quezon to bring rain in parts of PH–Pagasa

MANILA, Philippines — A shallow low pressure are off Quezon will continue to bring rains in parts of the country, the state weather bureau said Wednesday.

The SLPA was spotted 280 kilometers east of Infanta, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said.

Palawan, Visayas and Mindanao will experience cloudy skies with occasional moderate to heavy rains and thunderstorms. The rest of Southern Luzon will experience occasional light to moderate rains and thunderstorms. Northern and Central Luzon will have partly cloudy skies with brief rainshowers or thunderstorms mostly in the afternoon or evening.

Meanwhile, Metro Manila will experience occasional light to moderate rains and thunderstorms.

Coastal areas along Northern and Central Luzon will be moderate to rough.
