Pecandela claims 3rd consecutive win in 9th IBP caging

PECANDELA Law Firm-Primary Homes earned its 3rd straight win after drubbing winless Jodin, 73-55, last Saturday to take the early lead in the 9th IBP-2012 basketball tournament at the Capitol Parish gym.

Pecandela led by a single digit lead in the first three quarters but tore the game apart in the fourth with a blistering, 26-14 run with Ivans Gamallo accounting for 10 of those points.

Francis Pepito led Pecandela with 17 points while Jun Felicitas paced Jodin with 20 markers.

In the other game, the Los Demonyos led from start to finish in drubbing winless Primos, 92-64 with Bads Del Prado scattering a game-high 42 points spiked by seven trifectas. Noly Rama and Marco Pacoli paced Primos with 16 and 15 points, respectively.

Meanwhile, the Paneros handed Dissenters its first defeat, 72-65, to tie their victims at 2-1.

Ruel Juban and Barry Busi led Paneros with 27 and 21 points, respectively, while former UC Webmaster Kern Sesante paced Dissenters with 28 points.

Earlier, Bhutakalz crushed Eagles, 78-69 with Rey Gealon and Ivans Verallo scoring 16 and 13 points, respectively. Ian Santos paced Eagles with 26 points.
